Vernon, Founder & CEO of ASP outlined how Stephen Covey’s ‘7 Habits of
Highly Effective People’ relates to pool repair franchise owners with ASP. Here

Habit 1: Be proactive: Vernon
discussed the differences between working IN your business and working ON your
business, and how being proactive in your goals can help you out of a
day-to-day rut.
Habit 2: Begin with the end in mind:
Vernon encouraged all pool cleaning franchise owners to set goals for their
business with the end in sight, as you can not deliver an effective plan
without knowing where you are going in the end.
Habit 3: Put first things first. Time
management skills will either make or break your business. Properly managing
your time will lead to increased profit and success.
Habit 4: Think Win-Win: Develop
relationships with employees, partners, and vendors that are beneficial to both
parties.
Habit 5: Seek to understand first,
then be understood. As the owner of a pool repair franchise, the way you
communicate with those around you will make you or break you.
Habit 6: Synergize: Build a great team
around you. Then use everyone's strengths to improve.
Habit 7: Sharpen the saw: Improve
yourself as a leader and you will produce a more successful business.
